Collecting information: We may collect information from our guests such as: name, home/work/cell phone number(s), mailing address, e-mail address, automobile license number/make/year, RV unit size/make/year, boat size, credit card number, personal preferences, special needs and/or interests.
In order to do so, we will:

• collect information from you directly, from a member of your family, or from a business associate making reservations on your behalf
• obtain it in person, by telephone, mail, fax or e-mail
• keep the information in written or electronic form

Using Information: Guest information will only be collected for use by Pilot Bay Resort staff to:

• reserve your accommodations in advance
• facilitate your current and any future check-ins
• make your stay more enjoyable
• identify and accommodate your preferences, special needs and/or interests
• assist you in arranging payment of your accounts and/or verify credit worthiness
• conduct industry research and improve our facilities and services available to you
• maintain a guest data base in order to contact you regarding your reservation(s) and/or to advise you about facilities and services offered by Pilot Bay Resort
• comply with the law

We will retain your personal information for as long as required by law or as necessary for the purposes for which it is collected. Your personal information will not be used for other purposes without your consent.

Disclosing Information: We will not sell, transfer or trade mailing lists which include your information. We will not disclose any personal information collected about you to anyone, unless required to:

• do so by law
• provide information to another organization to assists us in forwarding additional information to you, collecting funds owing by you, or dealing with an event where someone poses a threat to the interests of Pilot Bay Resort or whose activities could bring harm to others
• provide information to the purchaser of our business, in the event our business is sold

Keeping Information Secure: We are committed to protecting the information we collect about our guests. We will keep written information in a secure place while in use and in a locked area when stored for future purposes as previously outlined. Electronically stored information will be password-protected and available only to staff who require it. Obsolete or unnecessary information will be disposed of by shredding.

Access to Information: Guests may ask to see their information. If you wish to review your information, please contact the owners of Pilot Bay Resort in person or as described below. At your request and subject to applicable law, we will correct inaccuracies, limit the collection, use or disclosure of your personal information or delete your personal information from our records.

Obtaining Your Consent: By providing personal information to us, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure and handling of your information by us, as set out above. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact the owners of Pilot Bay Resort in person or as described below.
